Name: Zayda McIntire

Style: Pop / Country

Song: "The Little Things"

Age: 29

When did you first start to sing: When I was very young; three or four years old. I always sang standing on top of a table or my bed.

Do you have any formal singing training? I have been singing all my life in bands, solo and with school choirs. I currently sing in a band. As for singing training, I took voice lessons for one semester at AWC, about 5 years ago.

Who in the music world do you think your style is most like? That is hard to say, I like all styles and sing whatever sounds good. However, I have to say Ayiesha Woods.

What is your favorite song to sing? “Bleeding Love” by Leona Lewis

What is in your CD player or MP3 player right now? Hannah Montana. I have two little girls that have invaded my car.

What is your favorite song of all time? “Killing Me Softly” by Fugees

Who is your favorite artist? Ayiesha Woods

What other talents do you have? I can play the piano and laser tag.

What are your personal goals in life? One of my goals is to sing the National Anthem at a Super Bowl. Also, I’d like to sing professionally or by a stay at home mom.

If you could not sing, what other talent would you most like to have? Being able to listen to any song and come up with the choreography, would be a talent that I’d love to have.

What is the proudest moment of you life so far? My proudest moment was singing at a Diamondbacks game.

What is one quirky fact people may be surprised to learn about you?? When I was pregnant, I ate fried cauliflower with eggs. My husband was so disgusted, he couldn’t be in the house for an hour after I finished it. The kids and I still like it!
