Yuma Family Dental is Yuma's Best Dental Office for 2006, according to readers of The Sun.

"That's great," said Jennifer Struck, office manager. "I'd like to thank our patients for a very high compliment. It shows in the ways we try to excel. We do it for our patients, and we appreciate that they've recognized and acknowledged it. We're honored, and we're very happy."

The office provides general and cosmetic dentistry, and Dr. Craig Barrows is always continuing his education to stay on top of the newest dental trends and technology, Struck said.

For example, the office has a chairside economical restoration of esthethic ceramics (CEREC) machine that enables Dr. Barrows to make a patient's crowns the same day. That keeps patients from having to come back three weeks later, get a second shot and miss work a second time, Struck said.

"We also have excellent customer service. We train our staff extensively in that. Patients will receive optimal office care from paperwork to dental care."
