Best Car Salesperson

Since Alexander Automotive is Yuma's Best New and Used Car Dealer for 2006, it may not surprise anyone that Yuma's Best Car Salesperson can also be found there.

The Sun's readers have given top honors in that category to Walt Bickford for the third time.

He said he feels "honored" to be named Yuma's Best Car Salesperson by the "select and loyal client base" he believes may have voted for him.

And though he doesn't know exactly why they did, he joked that it may be because he's "probably the last honest car salesman."

After giving it some more thought, he said, "I provide long-term, continuous service selling vehicles of all kinds. I have a client base that returns time and again and refers other clients to me.

"I also have the opportunity to work with a gentleman named Ron Sawyer, who understands uniqueness, and he allows it to manifest itself as success."
