Yuma's Best 2006 Sub Category winner
  The Crossing

Best Catering Service

If you've passed The Crossing restaurant recently, you may have noticed the building is undergoing some changes. But inside, the casual family atmosphere and flavorful food is the same.

And it's that consistently good food that has earned The Crossing the title of Yuma's Best Catering Service.

"We work hard to do our job and get it done correctly," said Ryan Haile, who has owned and operated the restaurant and catering service for the past three years. "We have some options that are real feasible. We offer good quality that won't break the bank."

As for the restaurant, Haile said, "We have a real friendly atmosphere. We try to train the staff to be the best." He added that being recognized as Yuma's Best "is a great compliment. It's nice to know our hard work is recognized."

Right now, The Crossing is open from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday. But according to Haile, those hours may change when the renovation is complete. Also, look for the name to change to The Crossing Grill and Bar.

No matter what alterations are made, Haile insists that you'll still be able to find good food, friendly service and an atmosphere that will "showcase a lot of Yuma's history."

The restaurant is at 2690 S. 4th Ave. For the restaurant, call 726-5551; for catering, call 783-3061.
