Best Radio Station
For the sixth year in a row, KTTI has nabbed the No. 1 spot for Best Radio Station. According to Jeff Harris, VP/market manager, the reason the station is so successful is "we are a reflection of the community. Yuma's still very in tune with country."
Harris also credits Yuma's belief in a small town. "We can touch the community and interact with people that you can't do in a market like San Diego or Phoenix."
Turn the dial to 95.1 and you'll get a taste of KTTI's mix of contemporary country music and classic country-western with a dash of "live local personalities that are involved in the community," said Harris.
Also, the station has worked hard to make the Internet an integral part of its operation. "We stream so you can listen to all kinds of music," including exclusive live concerts that contain "any and every format - whatever you want," said Harris.
