For the past 30 years, Hunter Steakhouse has been dishing up the "best steak in town." This year, The Sun's readers gave the restaurant top honors in the categories of Best Business Lunch, Best Fine Dining and Best Steak.

"We have a reputation; people are talking," said Sylvia Mota, manager of Hunter Steakhouse.

Though you can get fresh seafood and salad served right at your table, Mota says people really like the "prime rib and the hand-cut steak."

Mota also credits the relaxing atmosphere and top-notch customer service. "We can meet needs of many people from private dining for special occasions to a quick bite before a movie - we try to get our guests whatever they need."

Hunter Steakhouse is open Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The restaurant is at 2355 S. 4th Ave. Reservations are recommended but not required. Call 782-3637.
