Best Golf Course

Desert Hills Golf Course has once again been voted Yuma's Best.

And it's held that title for a long time, said Troy Wilde, public affairs coordinator with the city of Yuma.

"It's a big hit with locals and winter visitors. It's a challenging, rewarding course, and by all accounts, very affordable."

"The city of Yuma is very pleased with the residents for selecting Desert Hills as Yuma's premier golf course. It's very popular. The city of Yuma is really an organization comprised of citizens. We're the same people. We are the friends and neighbors of the people that vote. And we're all very fortunate to have these facilities here."

Desert Hills is at 1245 W. Desert Hills Drive, 344-4653. Hours of operation are from dawn or 6 a.m. to dusk Monday through Saturday and from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
