Best Cup of Coffee

Sometimes all it takes to kickstart the day is a hot cup of coffee and a friendly smile. That may be one reason why Coffee Bean Espresso Bar gets first place for Best Cup of Coffee.

Since August of 1994, Coffee Bean has been serving coffee and espresso drinks as well as smoothies and sandwiches.

According to manager Claudia Diaz, the atmosphere is "really nice and quiet."

There is an eclectic crowd, starting with "the early morning people rushing to work" and ending with "a really different environment at night - a younger crowd," said Diaz.

As for big-name competition, Diaz said: "We don't really worry about it too much. I've been helping a lot of the same people for the last nine years."

Coffee Bean is located at 2450 S. 4 Ave., Suite 106. However, they do catering and delivery to businesses for a nominal fee. Call 317-0284.

Business hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
