By the end of this year, Burgers & Beer as you know it will be gone. But in its place will be a building that is "a lot bigger, nicer, more modern," according to owner Jaime Honold. "We're trying to make it better for the customers to enjoy."

In the meantime, you'll still be able to get the same food and drinks Yumans have come to know and love. In fact, Burgers & Beer is the top pick for Best Burger and Best Wine/Beer Selection in a Restaurant by readers of The Sun.

Burgers & Beer has 10 beers on tap and over 100 bottled beers as well as a large selection of wines that are sold by the bottle and by the glass.

That's just the beginning. They have more than 20 different kinds of burgers. "We try our hardest to sell the best burger, the best-quality beef. I like to make the best burger I can make," said Honold. There is also a good selection of Mexican food, sandwiches and salads.

Though Burgers & Beer has top awards going back to the inception of Yuma's Best, Honold is honored by the latest win and says, "We'd like to keep doing our best."

For the past 21 years, Burgers & Beer has been serving up food and fun at 321 W. 20th St. The new building will be in the same area. You can call them at 783-3987.
