Whether you want to take your spouse and kids out to eat great American food or meet your co-workers for happy hour, Applebee's is the place to go, according to The Sun's readers, who have once again named Applebee's as Yuma's Best All Around Restaurant, American Food, Family Dining, Take-out and Happy Hour.

"We're very pleased ... that we're still No. 1 ... that we're able to provide the friendly atmosphere and a fun place to be." said Elizabeth Greene, general manager.

Applebee's offers a "full dining experience" as well as carside take-out service for call-ahead orders. And patrons can buy two appetizers and get one free during happy hour every day from 3 to 6 p.m. and from 9 p.m. to closing time.

Greene thinks that friendly faces, quality of food and consistency of service are the reasons why The Sun's readers have consistently voted Applebee's Yuma's Best. "People appreciate that," she said.

Business hours are from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
