Bill Alexander's business philosophy may be one reason why Alexander Automotive has been voted Yuma's Best in both the New and Used Car Dealer categories by The Sun's readers.

"One of Bill's philosophies is 'If you're going to have a successful business, you have to have good people providing good service,'" said Jeff Fritz, controller/treasurer. "Our employees do that."

The business is a full-service automotive dealer that sells new and used vehicles and has a full-service repair shop, parts department and rental department, he said. "That gives us a chance to reach out and touch more people in the community and to have a positive impact on (The Sun's) readers and our customers.

"We work hard to take care of our customers, and we feel very fortunate to be recognized."

The sales department is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The service and parts departments, body shop and rental department are open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon.
