Best Liquor Store

For the fifth year, 8th Street Liquor has been named Yuma's Best Liquor Store.

"We have the best customer service and the best prices in town," according to manager Jim Safaro. "We are nice to customers. We're committed to quick service plus we are a drive-through store and we have everything in stock."

By "everything," Safaro is referring to the wide variety of beer, wine, liquor and cigarettes for which 8th Street Liquor is known.

"We've been in Yuma for about eight years," said Safaro, adding "we appreciate that (The Sun's readers) vote for us because we're trying to do our best for them."

The store and drive-through are open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Go to 1100 W. 8th St., or call 783-3742.
